Over 60 years of drum mower experience
In 1963, Dutchman Piet Zweegers jr. made an important invention: the cyclo mower. It would change the haymaking world forever! Today, the PZ drum mower, named after its inventor, is still being produced and developed at KUHN-Geldrop in the Netherlands. Of course, in a further evolved version.

From sickle bar mower to drum mower
For decades, mowing with a sickle bar mower was the standard. Cyclo mowers, however, consist of drums or discs with knives, which rotate. The big advantage is that they deliver a good swath and are low-maintenance, even in tough conditions.

PZ drum mower technology
Why is PZ technology still so successful on the market? For more than 60 years, our drum mowers have proven themselves in all kinds of conditions and for different types of agricultural operations.

The greatest strengths include:
- An active crop flow and a cleanly deposited swath thanks to the PZ design - consisting of 2 large outer and 2 small inner drums.
- Low power requirement due to large throughput openings between the drums.
- Clean cutting quality thanks to flat sided drums and freely rotating saucers.
- User-friendly and quick knife exchange.
The widest product offering
Today, KUHN is the only manufacturer that has tailored its drum mowers on both small and large tractors, and demanding conditions.
With 8 different models, we offer you the widest product range on the market:
- 3 front-mounted models in working widths of 2.69 - 3.19 m
- 4 rear-mounted models in working widths of 1.65 - 3.04 m
- a triple mower combination with a maximum working width of 8.84 m
