TINELINER tine weeders are particularly suited to weeding row crops, such as cereals, or for young row crops, especially before seedling emergence. This range commes in working widths of 6.00, 9.00 and 12.00 metres.

The TINELINER tine weeder is a high-performance mechanical weeder for row crops. The TINELINER tine weeder features 6 rows of tines designed to eliminate weeds as soon as they emerge, or before they emerge. With perfect length-to-diameter proportions, they are extremely effective weeders, preserving crop development.

Tine aggressiveness can be continuously adjusted from the tractor cab thanks to the standard hydraulic-setting system. The TINELINER tine weeder adapts to any type of soil, weed density, and crop sensitivity.

The gauge wheels with a tractor tyre tread pattern have two functions: to adjust working height and ensure great ground following. They maintain the TINELINER's working depth to ensure efficient weeding without damaging the crop.

Specially designed tines

Each section of the TINELINER tine weeder is 1.50 m in width. It is equipped with 48 tines, 540-mm long by 7 mm in diameter, positioned in 6 rows, to improve soil and weed flow-through.

The length-to-diameter proportions are the result of rigorous studies, producing the optimum balance between flexibility and rigidity, for maximum weeding effectiveness.

Precise spacing between tines

The tines are spaced at 3.125 cm. This precision is crucial to ensure efficient, uniform weeding. Constant tine spacing means that the whole working width is covered evenly, maximising the machine's capacity to pull up and cover the weeds. The S-shaped tine holder allows the tines to move freely and prevents soil and residue build-up. The smooth-edged holder and high clearance protect more mature crops when weeding.

Hydraulic adjustment of aggressiveness

Tine aggressiveness must be adapted to suit changing conditions (soil type, weed density, crop sensitivity, etc.). The hydraulic-adjustment system makes it possible to modify tine angle continuously, and directly from the tractor cab. This avoids interruptions and having to get down from the tractor all the time.

Pressure adjustment for each section

The hydraulic tine-pressure-adjustment system also regulates tine pressure on each of the TINELINER weeder's sections. Hydraulic-pressure compensation associated with the machine's fixed sections maintains the same level of aggressiveness across the entire working width of the machine, ensuring uniform weeding.

Precision on wheels

Ground following

Constant working-height adjustment is one of the keys to a great performance from your machine. The oblong hole for the top link in combination with the front and rear gauge wheels contribute to efficient ground following and constant tine depth.

Field-profile gauge wheels

The TINELINER tine weeder features gauge wheels with a tractor tyre-tread pattern designed to reduce soil and residue build-up. This self-cleaning concept keeps the machine working at its best, even in the most difficult soil conditions. These gauge wheels are specially designed to reduce ground pressure and minimise soil compaction.

No transplanting!

To avoid transplanting the weeds with the rear gauge wheels, the latter are equipped, as standard, with additional and adjustable tines.

The TINELINER tine weeder's twin wheels

Twin wheels

Twin wheels can be fitted to the front of 9.00- to 12.00-metre TINELINER tine weeders to facilitate depth control, in light or sandy soils.
Electro-hydraulic selector

Control everything with an electro-hydraulic selector

TINELINER 900 and 1200 tine weeders require 3 double-acting valves (2 for folding/unfolding, and 1 for tine aggressiveness). The optional electro-hydraulic function selector is economical and easy to use. It can control machine folding and unfolding, on both sides, with just one double-acting valve.
