The hand and wrist are wonderful tools, but overuse can lead to strain injuries!
Hands and wrists are both powerful and precise. The hand is composed of numerous muscles, tendons and 27 different bones, divided into three categories: the carpal bones in the wrist, the metacarpals and the phalanges.
Repetitive overuse in non-ergonomic positions can cause strain and discomfort in the hand.
Stiffness, numbness, chronic pain and tingling can pose significant challenges for hedge and grass cutter operators, especially during prolonged operation when they must both control the machine and drive the vehicle.

Carpal tunnel syndrome:
Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by compression of the median nerve in the carpal tunnel in the wrist. This causes numbness and tingling in the first 3 fingers of the hand, especially at night. What's more, at an advanced stage, this condition can be truly disabling, causing difficulties in grasping objects.
Tendonitis and tenosynovitis:
Tendonitis is inflammation of a tendon, while tenosynovitis is tendonitis associated with inflammation of the synovium, or tendon sheath. De Quervain's tenosynovitis is a condition affecting the thumb tendons, causing pain in the wrist.

Simultaneous combination of 4 electrical proportional functions
Equipped with 7 push buttons and 2 rocker switches, the new INTUITIV' joystick puts all the controls in one place. The PRO-LONGER GII range features 4 proportional functions as standard, to control the main boom, outer boom, pivot and flail head orientation.
The layout of the switches on the new INTUITIV' joystick allows users to control these 4 proportional movements simultaneously, without taking their hand off the joystick.
Control of the e-ASSIST functions
The e-ASSIST functions control all the electronic parallelogram movements on the PRO-LONGER GII e-TPA and e-LPA models.
This technology consists of equipping the arm's actuators with smart electronics. The automated functions maintain the cutting tool at a constant angle and height during operation, regardless of its reach.
It takes just one button on the INTUITIV’ joystick to control the main boom, the outer boom, the telescopic unit and the cutting tool, rather than the 4 buttons required for a standard machine.
Compact design to take up less space in the cab
The optimized dimensions of the new INTUITIV' joystick make it easy to fit into any tractor cab space.
Measuring just 170 mm high, it offers excellent handling and unbeatable comfort.
The foam armrest extending from the INTUITIV' joystick supports the arm during operation.
