AXENT 90.1 and 100.1 fertiliser spreaders are designed to meet the requirements of contractors and arable farms in terms of autonomy, precision, and working comfort! These fertiliser spreaders are highly autonomous tools with a hopper capacity of 9,400 litres. Not only can they spread up to 400 kg/ha over 36 m at more than 20 kmph, precisely and continuously, over 25 ha, but they can also work at widths of up to 50 m. They are equipped with high-tech features (EMC, VARISPREAD, OPTIPOINT, etc.) ensuring crops get the optimum dose of fertiliser every second and costs are kept under control. They also come with spreading automation features such as automatic supply to spreading modules and ISOBUS compatibility, as standard. In addition, the AXENT 100.1 is highly versatile, with the possibility of spreading granulated fertilisers and soil conditioners. And it takes less than 10 minutes to change spreading modules!

High-tech at your service

Exclusive EMC technology: right/left adjustment every second

Exclusive EMC technology (Electronic Massflow Control) adjusts the application rate, independently and automatically, on the left and right, every second. The idea is simple: fertiliser flow is measured on each disc so that in the event of clogging or blockage, the flow rate of the outlet concerned is corrected immediately and automatically. This unique KUHN adjustment system ensures every plant on the plot gets the right dose of fertiliser, even on slopes. There's no need to do a calibration test, just enter the application rate and the working width, and start spreading!

VARISPREAD PRO: high-speed and continuous section control

VARISPREAD equipment makes it possible to adjust working width directly from the tractor’s ISOBUS terminal. With VARISPREAD 8, available for the AXENT 90.1 model, the rate of fertiliser can be reduced progressively on 8 sections, 4 per side. The entire AXENT range can be equipped with VARISPREAD PRO section control, consisting of two electric motors, called SpeedServos, that are 2.5 times faster than a traditional cylinder. SpeedServos enable high-speed and continuous working-width adjustment by modifying drop points and fertiliser application rates over one-metre sections. This results in the spread fan being perfectly adapted to the shape of the plot, with optimum cover, even at high speeds.

OPTIPOINT technology: opens/closes the outlets in just the right place

At headlands, starting and stopping spreading is often managed « by chance » despite different fertilisers having different spreading distances. GPS-controlled OPTIPOINT technology automatically calculates exactly where to open and close outlets according to fertiliser type, working width, and ground speed. It's the ideal solution for optimum cover and prevents overdosing.

A user-friendly, practical experience

Precise and regular supply, 100 % automatic

A fully automatic conveyor is located in a pre-chamber above the spreading discs. This means that the driver does not need to activate it to supply the AXIS Power Pack with fertiliser. Precise and regular fertiliser supply to the spreading modules is ensured!

Hopper with suspension

The hopper on the AXENT 90.1 is equipped with silent block suspension. The AXENT 100.1's hopper has hydraulic suspension with two cylinders. What are the benefits? Hopper vibrations are reduced, and spreading is more precise and regular. Driving comfort is ensured in the field and on the road. With the hydraulic version, the position of the machine can be adjusted to adapt to the tractor's linkage height.

An integrated weighing system

Four weighing cells have been integrated into the chassis of AXENT fertiliser spreaders. So, it is possible to monitor the amount of fertiliser in the hopper continuously and directly on the ISOBUS terminal or with the Spreadset application on a Smartphone. A real advantage in logistics optimisation and for anticipating refilling.

ISOBUS compatible as standard

Use CCI 800 or CCI 1200 ISOBUS terminals to control the machines, or any other ISOBUS terminal available on the farm. These terminals have numerous functions such as:

application-rate modulation with application maps or biomass sensor,
automatic section control with VARISPREAD 8 or PRO,
data transfer between your CCI terminal and your office software thanks to KUHN Connect solutions.

It is also possible to use an AUX-N joystick like the CCI A3 with colour touch screen.

Presentation of each model's specific features

Adapted to tractors from 180 hp.

The AXENT 90.1 trailed fertiliser spreader is equipped with the AXIS PowerPack spreading module with mechanical drive, so a low hydraulic flow (30 litres / min) is sufficient to power the conveyor belt,
The AXENT 100.1 fertiliser spreader features the AXIS PowerPack with hydraulic drive. It has a built-in hydraulic system to drive the conveyor belt, metering outlets, spreading discs, steering axle (and beater on UNIVERSAL PowerPack versions). The beater is powered by the tractor's PTO from a speed of 750 rpm. It requires no oil supply from the tractor.
Both AXENT models are adapted to a wide range of tractors from 180 hp.

AXIS Power Pack: spreading granulated fertiliser

The AXIS PowerPack spreading module is capable of spreading mineral fertiliser granules (or seeds) over a width of 18 to 50 m. The CDA system makes spreading more precise and constant, even when there are variations in application rate, working width, and ground speed. This is due to :

an ultra-slow agitator (17 rpm over 360°) that feeds the discs and is gentle with granules,
the possibility of modifying the fertiliser drop point,
the specific design of the metering outlets, in three points, ensuring a progressive and uniform supply to the spreading discs,
the outlet chute that guides fertiliser to the spreading discs.

With this spreading module, take advantage of EMC adjustment and working-width modification, thanks to VARISPREAD 8 & PRO, and automatic outlet control by GPS, with OPTIPOINT technology.

UNIVERSAL PowerPack: spreading soil conditioners

The AXENT 100.1 fertiliser spreader is a highly autonomous tool able to spread fertiliser granules (AXIS PowerPack) and organic soil conditioners (UNIVERSAL PowerPack). It takes just one person less than 10 minutes to change the spreading module!
With its 700 mm large-diameter discs equipped with five blades, the UNIVERSAL PowerPack spreading module is designed for heavy, wet products: powder, lime, wet bulk, fertilizer pellets, etc. Application rates are up to a few tonnes per hectare over a maximum width of 15 m to 18 m depending on the product. The feed belt is exclusively used for dosing the product according to ground speed (DPAE) and the programmed application rate. A hydraulic beater helps feed the spreading discs as it breaks up and facilitates product flow.

The OPTIMER range provides optimum penetration capacity for work from 5 to 15 cm deep, depending on the diameter of the discs chosen.

The AEF-certified CCI 800 ISOBUS terminal features a 8"/20.3 cm screen. Essential information is displayed with a main view and mini-views on the side. Click on the mini-view to enlarge it. It can offer the same applications as the CCI 1200 terminal. Among its most innovative applications, , it performs Section Control, application rate modulation from maps or biomass sensors and guidance assistance, all using GPS data. The connection of one or two cameras increases comfort of use.

Border spreading limiter GSE PRO

The precision of the GSE PRO border spreading limiter combines two key factors in fertilisation: output optimisation and respect for the environment. The limiter is hydraulically controlled directly from the tractor cab. The product is spread towards the inside of the plot while driving along the edge. The metering outlet on the border side is closed. The settings on the new GSE PRO are quick and easy, and available on the KUHN SpreadSet application!

Steering axle with integrated gyroscope for the AXENT 100.1 fertiliser spreader

Follows you exactly where you go!

A steering axle with gyroscope control is available as an option for the AXENT 100.1. The angle varies from 10 to 17° depending on track width and tyres. It is quick to connect with no special assembly or adaptation. Just attach the gyroscope to the tractor. It has built-in tilt correction and the possibility for manual control.
